Obstacles To Peace...

Coercion…Aggression…Taxation….Privilege….Corporations (State Capitalism)….

Peace, the daughter of Liberty and Equality, is obstructed under the conditions listed above. She is absent when neighbors steal from each other via taxation (legal plunder).

She refuses to dwell in the shadow of privilege for she knows inequality when she sees it.

We will never dwell in Peace as long as we use force to achieve social and political goals. If we truly love our neighbors, we will respect their rights and property.

To govern ourselves is to allow others to do the same.

No Freedom In Geo-Space...

“There is no freedom in geo-space. Every square inch has been mapped and claimed by some nation or corporation or syndicate. The only remaining frontier is electronic”

Sums Up The Purpose Of This Site...

"The measure of the state's success is that the word anarchy frightens people, while the word state does not."

Personal Anarchy

"My goal is to be as free as I can in this world - in the here and now. I'd also like to help others be as free as they can be. That I'm not absolutely free and others are not is certainly true. Becuase freedom is an open-ended concept, no person or group can ever be totally free. The point is to try to live our lives as a movement toward freedom, away from coercion, and as a process involving openness - i.e., choice. If we operate on that principle, we are living in the spirit of anarchy. Whenever we try through coercion, threat, or violence to force people to do things our way we are opposing the spirit of anarchy. Everything in opposition to the spirit of anarchy is anti-freedom."

Creating A Free America

http://www.strike-the-root.com/62/horn/horn1.html

"These are unquestionably dark days for America . With the signing of the Military Commissions Act of 2006, the U.S. has now taken the final step toward becoming a police state. That act effectively abolishes the writ of Habeas Corpus, which has protected individuals from arbitrary arrest and imprisonment for 800 years. Any pretense that the United States respects the rule of law, or acknowledges that Americans have any rights whatsoever, has now been swept away."

"What are you going to do about it? Would you rather read about freedom . . . talk about freedom . . . write about freedom . . . theorize about freedom . . . or experience freedom? Do you want to live with back bowed and head lowered in submission, living in constant fear that the wrath of your masters will descend upon you — or do you want to walk with your head held high, ruler of your own life?"

What Anarchy Means To Me

http://www.catfarmer.com/str/whatanarchismmeans.html

"Anarchism, at its finest, is an expression of unconditional love. It doesn't bind the hands, or shackle the feet; it doesn't presume to have superior authority or better wisdom; it doesn't constrain speech or prohibit choices, even for your own good. It knows that the decision regarding what is good for you must rest with you, because only by being responsible for ourselves can we fulfill our obligation to ourselves, and grow into something beyond ourselves. We're capable of it; why settle for anything less?"

Minarchy Vs. Anarchism...Let's Work Together!

http://www.strike-the-root.com/51/weebies/weebies7.html

"First the current US Constitution would need to be abolished. A new constitutional convention would be required where the libertarian ideals of the Declaration of Independence are actually enshrined as the law of the land. Any ambiguous reference to the common good that could be incorrectly interpreted must be avoided. It should be clearly stated that the constitution is not a living document subject to the interpretation and whims of judges, legislators, and executives, but only serves to limit what powers they may exercise in their duties. Most importantly, it must emphasize individual sovereignty, where the rights and property of individuals are not subject to group whims and demands, and that it is illegal to use force or coercion to gain individual compliance to any program. Forced collectivism of any type must be fully renounced as inimical to the foundation of individual liberty."

What Is Anarchy?

http://www.lewrockwell.com/shaffer/shaffer60.html

"The late Robert LeFevre made one such effort to transcend the popular meaning of the word when he declared that "an anarchist is anyone who believes in less government than you do." But an even better understanding of the concept can be derived from the Greek origins of the word (anarkhos) which meant "without a ruler." It is this definition of the word that members of the political power structure (i.e., your "rulers") do not want you to consider. Far better that you fear the hidden monsters and hobgoblins who are just waiting to bring terror and havoc to your lives should efforts to increase police powers or budgets fail."

How To Abolish Government

http://www.lewrockwell.com/edmonds/edmonds163.html

"Even if you dislike the idea of participating with your forcible government, it remains the case that telling your governor not to put a new tax up for vote is a step in the right direction. He doesn’t need to know you’re moving him in the direction of abolishing his office, that you didn’t vote for him, or that you don’t vote for people at all. He needs to believe only that you might vote for him next time. Forty years from now, it will be easier to abolish a government that taxes 10% of your income and offers no social programs than to abolish a government of the sort we have today."
Brad Edmonds

An excellent short essay which explains in simple terms, what ordinary freedom lovers can do TODAY in their fight against the State.
